Meteorite
Energy, Connection, Grounding
Meteorites are rock fragments from outer space that have penetrated the Earth’s atmosphere and impacted its surface. They are pieces of asteroids, comets, or meteoroids that made their way through the solar system all the way to the Earth’s crust. Scientists believe Meteorites found here came from an asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Often referred to as “shooting stars,” meteorites are billion-year old fragments of asteroids which have fallen to earth. Some ancient cultures believed meteorites to be “heavenly gifts,” or good omens.
