Howlite is a white stone that most often has gray, black, or brown veins running throughout it. It has the ability to absorb dyes through its pores which is commonly used to make an imitation of other stones. Associated with self-awareness and creativity, howlite is said to improve one’s emotional well-being by calming and freeing the mind. A naturally white stone with marbling, it is commonly dyed to enhance its color.
