Moss Agate is a clear or milky-white to gray colored form of chalcedony with green colored minerals within the stone that form into branches or moss-like impurities. It is formed from silicon dioxide found as fractured or weathered volcanic rock. Although agate is in the name, it is not a true form of agate because of its lack of banding. Moss Agate is known as a stone of abundance and growth, and is regarded as a stabilizing and strengthening influence.
