Geodes begin as bubbles in volcanic rock or sedimentary rock. Over millions of years the outer shell of the spherical shape hardens, and water containing silica forms on the inner walls of the hollow cavity within the Geode. From the outside, Geodes look like common rocks, but when they are opened they reveal a cavity lined with beautiful crystals, making these stones truly magical. Geodes are associated with the connection of the outer exterior and the inner being. They are thought to help with heartache and with the flow of positive energy, encouraging the wearer to let go of any unfulfilling thoughts and to follow their intuition.
