Blue Lace Agate is a variegated (meaning it has a variety of colors in the form of streaks), soft blue type of Chalcedony, a microcrystalline quartz mineral, banded together to create layers of blue hues, whites, and browns. These layers are created in line within the host rock, typically in igneous rocks as nodules or geodes. Blue Lace Agate is said to help calm one’s nerves and promote courage, articulation and composure. It is believed to be particularly useful in the expression of thoughts and feelings.
